Cherki has scored 12 goals and provided 19 assists for Lyon across all competitions, and his sensational form in the 2024-25 campaign has attracted interest from several top European clubs. According to , Premier League giants United and Spurs are currently leading the race to sign the French star in the summer.

The report adds that Lyon have set an asking price of €30-35 million (£25m/$34m-£29m/$39m) for the player and for most top European sides, it is a cut-price deal considering the amount of talent the 21-year-old possesses.
